From Trying to get into shape to excelling at the Marathon

I didn't start as an elite runner. I started as someone who wanted to get back into shape, and to see what I was made of — and running became my proving ground. Over the past decade-plus, I've toed the line at over 80 marathons across 14 countries and 15 states, from the streets of Tokyo to the ice of Antarctica.

I've completed 30+ World Marathon Majors, qualified for and run Boston 11 times, and earned the Abbott Six Star Medal twice — in 2018 and again in 2024. In 2022, I became a 7-Continent Finisher, completing a marathon on every continent, including Antarctica. I'm also an Ironman finisher.

In 2022 I completed marathons on all 7 continents, a goal that took years of planning and pushed me to my absolute limits. Every race taught me something new about training, recovery, and the mental side of endurance sport.

Today, as an ISSA Certified Running Coach and Assistant Cross-Country Coach at Pasco Hernando State College, I bring that same passion and experience to every athlete I work with. Whether you're running your first 5K, chasing a Boston qualifier, or trying to get recognized by a college, I know what it takes — and I'll build the plan to get you there.  Running is more than physical, you need to be mentally prepared.  Let me assist you, so you don't have to make many of the mistakes I have.
